Judgment of Compliance Compliance Narrative of Justification The Bennett College Board of Trustees approved an Intellectual Property Policy on February 15, 2008. (See Board Minutes). The policy is clear concerning ownership of materials, compensation, copyright issues, and the use of revenue derived from the creation and production of all intellectual property. Further, the policy governs the activities of all students, faculty, and staff. The policy defines different categories of intellectual property, details the terms under which Bennett claims copyright and/or share of royalty income, and specifies the division of such income among the faculty/staff and/or students responsible for developing it, the department, unit, the college and other interested parties.
