Compliance

Narrative of Justification

The admissions policies of Bennett College are consistent with its mission that recruits and “offers women an education conducive to excellence in scholarly pursuits; preparation for leadership roles in the workplace, society, and the world; and life-long learning in a technologically advanced, complex global society.” (College Catalog 2007-2008, pp.24-27: Admissions)

The Office of Admissions is responsible for publishing and executing admissions policies as approved by the Board of Trustees and implemented by the administration. These policies are published on an annual basis in the College Catalog, and on the College website (www.bennett.edu/web/administration/instadv/admissions.htm ). In addition, they are communicated through print, personal contacts and group presentations by official representatives of the Office of Admissions to prospective students, parents, high school counselors and the general public (Winter 2008 Open House Presentation).

Admissions Policies for students matriculating at Bennett College are the same for all students including transfer students.
