The mission of the Office of Institutional Advancement is to ethically and with integrity acquire and steward financial and other resources to support the mission, vision, goals and objectives of Bennett College for Women. Our efforts support the work of creating an oasis for women, a place where sisters are educated, celebrated, and developed into global citizens and twenty-first century contributors.

YOUR GIFT MATTERS
A gift to Bennett College for Women has impact.

Bennett College for Women enjoys a long history of providing quality education to women. Our efforts, fueled in large part by financial support from alumnae and friends of the College who know the level of effort required to provide a quality liberal arts education. Donors to Bennett College offer several important reasons for their financial support. Some want to ensure that the same level of quality education that they received is available for future generations. Others value an intimate liberal arts program focused on the education of African American women. And still others value the traditions, history and legacy of Bennett that clearly distinguishes it from other institutions. Others commend our on-going commitment to women’s education, leadership and advancement.

Moreover, donors choose to direct their philanthropy to Bennett College for Women because a gift to our College truly makes a difference. Our small size enables us to provide a personalized educational experience where financial contributions make a significant and immediate impact. Ninety-three percent of our students require financial assistance. Annually, our scholarship need is at least 2 million dollars. Additionally, at least 43% of our students are the first in their families to attend college. Your investment will ensure that students have access to a unique educational experience that transforms them into 21 century thinkers and global citizens. Like so many of our Bennett Belles, we continue to mold women into leaders in their fields, we meet our students where they are and take them to where they need to go. Whether you choose to support student scholarships, facilities, Women’s Leadership, Global Studies, Entrepreneurialism or some other area of interest, your philanthropic involvement will open doors for generations of Bennett Belles.
