Bennett Belles Kendra Mills, Zanaeh Rogers and Constance Staley attended the 2017 Annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minority Students (ABRCMS) in Phoenix, Arizona, November 1-November 4. The students presented poster presentations during the conference, at which they were accompanied by Bennett Professors Dr. Willietta Gibson and Dr. Michelle Linster, who served as conference judges, and Dr. Sheena Shearin.
The conference has been held for 17 years and this year was sponsored by the American Society for Microbiology and the National Institute of General Medical Sciences. This year’s theme was “Promoting Change and Transformation”. More than 3,000 students presented posters or made oral presentations at the conference.
