I am pleased to inform you that Ms. Davis is one of the thirty (30) national finalists for the UNITED NEGRO COLLEGE FUND SPECIAL PROGRAMS CORPORATION’S INSTITUTE FOR INTERNATIONAL PUBLIC POLICY (IIPP) FELLOWSHIP for 2008.

Ms. Davis is a Business and Economics major and is the first major to enroll in both the International Business and Human Resources Management concentrations. She is also completing a minor in Political Science. Currently, Ms. Davis’s has earned a 3.6 cumulative GPA.

According to UNCF-SP IIPP records, Ms. Davis is the first student from the College to apply for this fellowship in more than nine (9) years.

The mission of IIPP is to increase the representation of minorities in international affairs and global public policy in the government, private and non-profit sectors.

The IIPP Fellowship required six (6) program components include:
a Sophomore Summer Policy Institute (SSPI)
a Junior Year Study Abroad (JYSA)
a Junior Summer Policy Institute (JSPI)
a Summer Language Institute (SLI)
an Internship
and a Master's Degree Program in International Affairs
