Judgment of Off-Site Review Committee Non-Compliance Comments of Off-Site Review Committee The college has a long-established faculty development policy which has been supported since 2005 with institutional funds raised through targeted fundraising. The college also partners with other institutions, pursues grants, and grant study leaves (for faculty completing the terminal degree) to provide additional opportunities for faculty development. The comprehensive development strategies begin with orientation and mentoring of new faculty. Then funding is made available on an annual basis for peer-reviewed projects. The Faculty Development Committee and the division chairs help with the decision-making relative to faculty development. Bennett Focused Response Bennett College has a well-established Faculty Development Program operating continuously since 1983, which helps Bennett faculty to develop as teachers, scholars and practitioners.
