It is the policy of Bennett College to prohibit discrimination on the basis of age, color, creed, disability, gender, national origin, race, religion, genetic information, sex or veteran’s status in regard to the administration of all campus programs, services and activities including intercollegiate athletics, and the admission of students, employment actions, or other sponsored activities.
Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 protect individuals from discrimination based on sex in any educational program or activity operated by recipients of federal financial assistance. Sexual harassment, which includes acts of sexual violence, is a form of sexual discrimination prohibited by Title IX.
Bennett College is committed to providing an environment free from discrimination based on sex and provides a number of resources and services to assist students, faculty and staff in addressing issues involving sexual discrimination.
All Bennett College faculty, staff, and administrators are responsible for reporting actions that violate the provision of Title IX. Retaliation will not be tolerated against any person for making a good faith report of discrimination based on that person’s participation in any allegation, investigation, or proceeding related to the report of discriminatory conduct.
