Chapters are a vital part of the new Bennett College Alumnae Engagement structure. Chapters work directly with the College through a College chapter agreement and can serve local or regional areas.

The steps to become an official Bennett College chapter are:

  1. Form a new group or leverage an existing group of alumnae
  2. Review and sign College chapter agreement. The agreement addresses the relationship between the chapter and the College:
    1. The use of the College’s name and logo
    2. The process for raising funds
    3. Other terms and conditions designed to advance alumnae engagement
  3. Adopt naming convention of Bennett College official chapters: e.g. Bennett College Alumnae Chapter of Durham.
