COVID-19 Case Statistics/Dashboard at Bennett College
This section is to inform the community about the number of COVID-19 cases among students, faculty, staff and contractors who are present on the Bennett College campus. Those who have reported positive may not have been on campus at time they contracted the COVID-19 virus.
The page is updated weekly and in cases where a student or employee fails to disclose to the college that they have tested positive, the college will have no way of knowing and communicating that information. Therefore, the information on this page includes only positive cases of which the college has been made aware by the student, employee or the Guilford County Department of Public Health.
Confidentiality laws prohibit Bennett College from disclosing any identifying information about affected individuals. Any individual who has tested positive will be isolated, and anyone believed to be at risk for exposure will be contacted and asked to self-quarantine.
Quarantine vs. Isolation
Quarantine keeps someone who was in close contact with a person who has tested positive COVID-19 away from others.
Isolation keeps someone who has symptoms and/or tested positive (with or without symptoms) away from others, even others in their home.
Covid-19 Cases on Campus
The case statistics are updated in real-time, as cases are reported to the Bennett College Return to Campus Taskforce.
