BACCALAUREATE/COMMENCEMENT
Baccalaureate, the religious convocation that precedes the Commencement Exercises, takes place on the evening before Commencement. A minister is invited to provide a sermon, seniors are inducted as an Alumnae and the Class Valedictorian delivers her address. Commencement, which occurs the day following the Baccalaureate, is the academic exercise when degrees are conferred to seniors who have completed all requirements.
