Ms. Martha Haigler is currently an Assistant Professor of Computer Science in the STEM Department at Bennett College. Previously she served as the Director of the Honors Program and Interim Department Chair of the Mathematics and Computer Science Department at the College. She is in the process of completing her doctoral degree (Ed. D.) in Curriculum and Instruction in the School of Education at Gardner-Webb University in Boiling Springs, NC. Her research interests deal with increasing the numbers of African-American females in computer science (CS) undergraduate programs at historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs).
