Bennett College Announces Centennial Celebration and Unveils the Centennial Logo and Tagline: “Women. Learn. Lead.”

Bennett College announces its Centennial Celebration, honoring 100 years since its 1926 reorganization as a college for women. The multi-year commemoration celebrates Bennett’s faith-filled legacy, the power of sisterhood, and a century of preparing women to lead.

The Centennial tagline — “Women. Learn. Lead.” — captures the essence of Bennett’s enduring mission and the spirit of its alumnae around the world.

WOMEN: We are an all-women institution.
LEARN: We are an educational institution.
LEAD: We prepare women to lead in every aspect of their personal and professional lives.
A Logo Rooted in Faith and Legacy

The newly unveiled Centennial logo unites tradition and transformation. The elegant design features an elongated “T” in “Centennial,” extending to form the “L” in “Celebration.” This deliberate connection symbolizes the cross — a visual nod to the College’s historic relationship with the United Methodist Church and the faith upon which Bennett was built.

With its clean lines and contemporary feel, the logo honors the past while signaling a forward vision: a College confident in its future, grounded in its values, and committed to educating women who lead with purpose and conviction.

A Year — and Century — to Remember

The 2026 Centennial Celebration and Campaign will feature signature events across the year, inviting alumnae, students, faculty, staff, and friends of Bennett College to celebrate together.

Additional events will include the Presidential Leadership Library: Centennial Book Series, an AI Music and Creative Conference, Centennial Golf Tournament, a Black Fashion and Creative Talent Celebration, a Centennial Gala Event, and much more – with every activity reflecting Bennett’s legacy of intellect, artistry, and innovation.
