Assatta Blount-Palmer, a graduating senior majoring in Psychology with a minor in Entrepreneurship at Bennett College, has been chosen to participate as a speaker in The National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) 4th Annual HBCU Summit.
The event will take place virtually on February 22, 2024, at 1:00 PM ET.
The NACE Summit, themed “Talent Acquisition Reimagined: Cultivating Partnerships and Defining Innovation,” aims to address the gaps and explore solutions in talent engagement within Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).
Assatta Blount-Palmer will be part of a panel titled “HBCU Student Voices on What Matters Most When Recruiting: Part 2.” This segment builds upon the discussions initiated in Part 1, featuring candid conversations among HBCU seniors and graduate students. Blount-Palmer will share insights and perspectives on effectively connecting with HBCU student talent, offering suggestions based on her own academic journey and experiences.
The panel will be moderated by Catrina DosReis, Director of Learning and Development at McKinney, and will include other distinguished speakers from various HBCUs across the nation.
Blount-Palmer’s participation not only highlights her academic excellence but also underscores Bennett College’s commitment to nurturing leadership and empowering its students to engage in critical conversations shaping the future of education and employment.
