Bennett College to show “Black Issues Forum” featuring Provost Dr. Dorothy C. Browne and premiere of “Tell Them We Are Rising”

At 9 p.m. on Monday, February 19, Bennett College will show UNC-TV’s special presentation of Black Issues Forum, which will look at the impact of Historically Black Colleges & Universities in North Carolina. Bennett College Provost Dr. Dorothy C. Browne will be featured in the discussion.
Following the Black Issues Forum episode, at 10 p.m. “Tell Them We Are Rising,” an acclaimed documentary by award-winning filmmaker Stanley Nelson that examines the history and legacies of HBCUs, will premiere.
The documentary and special edition of Black Issues Forum will be shown in the auditorium in the Global Learning Center on Bennett’s campus. The public is invited to attend.
