The International Civil Rights Center & Museum (ICRCM) was host to the virtual 2023 Kwanzaa celebration. Dr. Gwendolyn Bookman, Associate Professor of Political Science at Bennett College, was the featured speaker for Day 2: Kujichagulia (Self-Determination), and former Board of Trustee member Michael Diamond, Senior Vice President with Towne Bank, was the featured speaker for Day 4: Ujamaa (Cooperative Economics).
