On June 26 and 27, 2025, the Steele Hall Art Gallery became more than just a space for reflection and beauty—it became a gathering place for community, conversation, and connection.
The Bennett College Board of Trustees welcomed guests to campus to meet Dr. Teresa Hardee, EdD, CPA, LSSBB, the College’s new Interim President. The events, hosted by the Board, marked the launch of Dr. Hardee’s listening tour—an intimate series of engagements designed to hear from those who know and support Bennett.

Despite torrential rain and summer storms, community leaders gathered to meet Dr. Hardee, hear her vision for the College, and to mark the beginning of a new era as Bennett approaches its centennial celebration as a college for women.
It was a beautiful beginning, one shaped by open dialogue, collective wisdom, and a shared belief in the transformative power of education.
