Tammy McNeil has over 20 years of Management and Business Ownership experience and received her Masters of Science in Management degree from High Point University in 2002. She has held management positions with corporations, such as, American Express, Bank of America (formally NationsBank), Wachovia Bank, First Atlanta Bank, Deluxe Financial Services and Pepsi Bottling Group.
For the last decade, her business ownership experience includes consulting, business development, professional coaching and personal and business mentoring services. In 2004, she co-founded N’Spired Business Solutions, a company dedicated to helping women entrepreneurs run businesses. Her common sense business approach has been recognized in YoungEntrepreneur.com, an internet magazine for entrepreneurs. Her published articles include: Tammy’s Tried and True 10 Tips for Life and Business Success. She encourages women to be empowered through business ownership and helps to educate through events such as the Women Business Forum.
She served as the Program Director of Jack and Jill Winston Salem Chapter and a member of IHIRM – a Charlotte based International Human Resource Organization. Currently she serves as a business Counselor for the Greensboro SCORE office located in the Nussbaum Center for Entrepreneurship.
She has served as a mentor for the Winston Lake YMCA Young Achievers Programs, business professionals, and colleagues. Ms. McNeil received the Winston Lake Adult Leadership Achievers Award in 2001. She has conducted “Occasional Based Marketing” Classes at both North Carolina A&T State and Winston-Salem State Universities during the 2003 and 2004 semester calendar year. Ms. McNeil also presented a 50-minute course to NC A&T students on “Customer Relationship Management.” In 2005 she spoke to students in the management program at High Point University on the topic of Management, “The Role of a Leader” and spoke to the National Student Marketing Association at North Carolina A&T State University about Marketing Strategies. Each year she and her business partners present “Strategic Business Plans that work and New Age Marketing Strategies” to the participants in the REAL Entrepreneurship program, which is sponsored by the EMSDC Business Development Council.
Ms. McNeil feels that helping to enrich the lives of children and young adults will make a happier adult that contributes to the success of all communities and the society.
